Play the sim well

Seven things that separate a posted score from a wasted round.

The checklistReference only
  1. Register in both placesBack Nine first, then the same event in Full Swing Compete at fscompete.com — one without the other means no score. Log in once at home so you know it works.
  2. Match your emailThe email on your Full Swing account must match the one you registered with at Back Nine. If the two don't match, your round doesn't find you.
  3. Enter the bay codeAt course selection, enter S-G-FYE — the bay code on play day, not your FSC registration. It's also in your Back Nine sign-up email.
  4. The handicap boxOptional. Nothing you type at the bay reaches your Back Nine score — the box only lets you watch a net number as you play. No number yet, leave it blank and play.
  5. Finish every holeStop a round if you must — but hole out. An unfinished hole posts no score, no redo.
  6. Putting on the simRead it, commit to the line, let the sensor settle. Rushed putts read worse than slow ones.
  7. Tech vs. bad shotFlag a real sensor misread to the attendant before you play on. A flush you disliked is not a misread — and this event runs without mulligans.
