Waterford Lakes Fall TPC Scramble and Football Season · FAQ

When does the league start, and when do I have to be signed up?

Play starts the week of September 7 and runs through November 1. Registration closes September 20 — and you can still join up to two weeks into the season.

When do we play our round?

Any time you like. Each week's round is open Monday through Sunday, so book your bay whenever it suits you and your partner.

Do we use handicaps?

No. This league is scored straight gross — what you shoot is what goes on the board. If enough teams sign up we split into flights by skill so you're competing with teams at your level.

How are the season standings decided?

On points, not strokes. You earn points for where you finish each week, and the season is decided on your total points across the eight weeks. The leaderboard on this page shows the weekly scores; your host posts the running points standings.

What if we can't finish our round that week?

Finish it when you can — it still counts toward the overall standings. It just won't be eligible for that week's prize.

What does it cost, and can we split it?

$150 per team for members, $399 per team for non-members. Yes, you can split it — each partner can pay their half.

How many teams can play?

20 teams, 40 players.

What are the mulligans for?

Simulator issues, not bad shots. You get three for the season. If the sim misreads a shot or a putt, use one and grab a video if you can.

How do I get into the event at the bay?

Use the day-of-play event code on this page at course selection. That's the bay code — it is not your Full Swing Compete registration.

Is there a handicap in this event?

No handicap comes off your score — your team plays gross. Everyone on the team hits, you pick the best shot, and all of you play from there — one ball, one card, one team score.

Where do I register and score my rounds?

Inside Full Swing Compete — your Back Nine host shares the event there. Heads up: the verification code lands in your main inbox, usually from "Full Swing Sports" — if it isn't there, check Promotions and every other folder.

How do I add my teammate?

Two places, and the second is the one teams miss. On Back Nine, add your teammate' name and email right on the registration form — that holds your spot. Then in Full Swing Compete, the CAPTAIN creates the team and invites the teammate from inside it. A teammate cannot add themselves, and nothing happens until the captain sends it. If you are the teammate, watch for that invite and accept it before you play — without it, only the captain's scores post.

What should I do on the day I play?

Log into Full Swing Compete first and launch the round your host shares. Play it out as a team — the sim records your team's score.

How do you keep it fair?

Every team plays the same course and the same setup as everyone else that week. Beyond that the format is the equalizer — one card per team, and the best team score wins.

How do points and standings work?

Your result sets your position on this event's board, and tied teams share the position. You earn points on where you finish each week. The Points Race is this league's season standing — not the cumulative total on the leaderboard. This is your venue's own board — local play does not feed a national season total.
