Houston Memorial Wednesday League · FAQ
How does scoring work?
Two-person scramble, nine holes, your team against one other team in a named bay. Low team gross takes the point — win 1 · tie ½ · loss 0 — on the week's team score, not hole by hole. Gross only. No handicaps, no strokes given.
Is this Rank Points / a full-field stroke board?
No. This is a Match Points fixture league. You earn 1 / ½ / 0 against your named weekly opponent. There is no Rank Points curve and no full-field stroke race. Use the Schedule tab for matchups and the Match Points tab for standings.
What if we miss league night?
Make up the match any time before the following week's round. If it isn't made up in time, it's a loss that week (Matt's binder policy). The product does not auto-apply a forfeit engine.
Which tees do we play?
Men Blue · Women & Juniors (12 & under) Red · Seniors (65+) White — from Matt's approved memo.
What's the finale?
Heights #1 vs Memorial #1 outdoors at Big Easy Ranch.
What's the day-of code at Houston Memorial?
H-G-PIA — enter it at the bay before your first shot so the round posts to the league.
Where do I find matchups and standings?
Schedule tab = weekly named matchups and bays. Match Points tab = season standings (W–T–L · points). Those are the primary faces for this league.
Is there a handicap in this event?
No handicap comes off your score — your team plays gross. Everyone on the team hits, you pick the best shot, and all of you play from there — one ball, one card, one team score.
Where do I register and score my rounds?
Inside Full Swing Compete — your Back Nine host shares the event there. Heads up: the verification code lands in your main inbox, usually from "Full Swing Sports" — if it isn't there, check Promotions and every other folder.
How do I add my teammate?
Two places, and the second is the one teams miss. On Back Nine, add your teammate' name and email right on the registration form — that holds your spot. Then in Full Swing Compete, the CAPTAIN creates the team and invites the teammate from inside it. A teammate cannot add themselves, and nothing happens until the captain sends it. If you are the teammate, watch for that invite and accept it before you play — without it, only the captain's scores post.
What should I do on the day I play?
Log into Full Swing Compete first and launch the round your host shares. Play it out as a team — the sim records your team's score.
How do you keep it fair?
Every team plays the same course and the same setup as everyone else that week. Beyond that the format is the equalizer — one card per team, and the best team score wins.
How do points and standings work?
Your result sets your position on this event's board, and tied teams share the position. Match Points: low team gross vs your named weekly opponent — win 1 · tie ½ · loss 0 on the week's team score, not hole by hole. Matchboard + Match Points standings are primary (not Rank Points, not a full-field stroke race). This is your venue's own board — local play does not feed a national season total.
Who do I contact with a question?
