There is a $1,000 league fee. One entry, both divisions, free to every player you put on the roster. We'll contact you separately once your roster is set to arrange it — nothing is owed today, and you can withdraw your location any time before you pay.
Participation is voluntary and is not required by your franchise agreement.

Any golfer in your market can play for your club. The only bar: they can't be a member at another Back Nine location. Go get the people who represent your club best.

Each week you name the three who play. It's three on three.
Both clubs play the same course inside the same week, each in its own bays. Nobody travels.
Every battle puts three points on the table. They stack into your club's season total and decide who plays in the new year.

Recruiting runs all season. Fill your five whenever you find the right people.
You can drop one player before December. A Bridge replacement has to be within two strokes of the player they're replacing.
A sixth roster spot opens, so a player you find mid-season can still join your location.

That's your Championship team and your Bridge team, every battle, all season. Never a per-player charge — playing for your location costs your players nothing.
It builds the season: scoring, brackets, the broadcast, marketing, the National Final in Las Vegas. There is a published award at each round of the bracket, made to the location — a location that advances earns as it goes. We publish the award schedule with the official rules.
Put a partner behind your location and their name runs with it all season — in the bay, on the shirts, on the streams. A sponsor can carry the fee entirely.

The two divisions alternate weeks — one week the Championship plays, the next week the Bridge. Your side is out every other week, all winter. There's no re-forming and no tryout: you build your roster once and manage it across the season.

Can I change my roster during the season?
Adds into empty slots are free, up to five. You get one drop before December. In December the transfer window opens and a sixth spot comes with it. A Bridge replacement has to be within two strokes of the player they're replacing.
Do my players have to be members?
No. Any golfer in your market can play for your location — they just can't be a member at another Back Nine location.
What's the format, and why best ball?
Three-on-three best ball, every battle. Your coach names the three each week. The Championship side plays it gross; the Bridge side plays net off each player's Back Nine number, so any golfer you recruit can win a battle.
How do the playoffs work?
The top teams on match points go to a bracket through late winter, and the season ends at the National Final in Las Vegas — two rounds on grass, two inside.
