Sponsor placements

Back Nine Grand Blanc, MI

Every place a local business can appear on your competitions, shown at the size it actually renders on your public event page. Open this on a screen in front of them, or send them the link.

How many you can sell

3 overall sponsors — one of them the presenting sponsor — plus one for each of your 8 rounds. 11 in total on an 8-round event.

The three overall slots are fixed: one presenting sponsor, then two more across Supporting and Partner in whatever mix you sell. Round sponsors sit on top of those three — one for every round, so a longer league simply carries more. A single-round tournament carries 4; your 8-round league carries 11.

Closest to the pin and longest drive run as contests on your event page, but they are not sponsor slots yet — see the bottom of this sheet.

Before you sell a fourth

The builder stops you at three overall, so the one to watch is promising a fourth to a business before you check. A fourth never reaches the page, and a second presenting sponsor is quietly moved down to Supporting. Promise three overall, and only ever one presenting.

And fix your round count before you sell rounds by the week: if you sell round 8 and then shorten the league, that sponsor disappears from the page rather than moving.

Live now on your event page

These render the moment you add a sponsor in the event builder. Each band shows the sample name beside the box a real logo fills — a presenting logo renders 40px tall, supporting 28px, partners 18px — and the mark links to their site when you add the URL.

Your location partners

These belong to your location, not to one event. Upload your partners once in your owner portal under Battles, then Partners, and star the one that leads. They run on every surface below for as long as you keep them up.

They get. Your location's lead mark on every Battles matchup your teams play, all season. You choose which partner it is.
How many. One, the partner you star. A team's own sponsor logo still comes first on its row.
Clubhouse partnersLive now
Where. Your location's page on beyondthegrass.com, under a Partners heading.
They get. The main partner large, every other partner in the strip beneath it, in the order you set.
How many. Up to 10 per location.

Where. A screen link for the TV in your bay. Open it once and leave it running.
They get. Every partner full screen in rotation, with your Battles team and this week's opponent underneath.
How many. All of your partners, up to 10.

Yours to run

These three don't live on your event page, because they don't need to — they're your building, your team's shirts, your screens. Put a partner behind your location and their name runs with it all season. Back Nine doesn't produce or place them, and doesn't take a cut: sell them, price them and put them up however you want.

Bay sponsorYours to run
Where. Behind the players, in the bay itself — where every round is played and filmed.
They get. Their name in the room all season, on every round played in that bay.
How many. Yours to sell. As many bays as you want to place.
Shirt sponsorYours to run
Where. On the shirts your Battles team plays in.
They get. Their name on the team that represents your clubhouse all season.
How many. Yours to sell, and yours to produce.
Screen sponsorYours to run
Where. Your own streams and the screens in your building.
They get. Their name on what your members watch while they wait and play.
How many. Yours to sell.

Not sponsor slots yet

Both contests run today and post to a board on your event page. Neither carries a sponsor field, so there is nothing to put a name on yet. Don't sell these two until they do.

Adding one

Open your event in the builder, go to the Sponsors section, and add the business name, their website, and a logo. It appears on the public event page on the next refresh. Leave it empty for none.

What a sponsor pays is entirely yours to set, and it's yours to keep — Back Nine doesn't price it, collect it, cap it or take a cut. You know what your market is worth better than we do, so there's no suggested figure anywhere on this sheet.
